Two Charlotte, North Carolina police officers, Sean Clark, 34 and Jeffery Shelton, 35 responded to a domestic disturbance early Sunday morning. This would be the last response call for both officers. Both officers were shot in the parking lot of the apartment complex and later died in the hospital. The offender, Demetrius Antonio Montgomery, 25, has been charged with two counts of murder.
