Robert Looney has long criminal record, tied to prison gang | Eyewitness News 9: "Standoff suspect, Robert Looney has been arrested before in connection with several shootings in Baltimore, Md. Nine On Your Side contacted the Maryland State Attorney's Office and they sent us a few pages of what they described as a lengthy criminal record.
In 2007, Looney barricaded himself in an apartment in West Baltimore while he was a suspect in an attempted murder case. Looney served three years in prison and got out in 2006. Baltimore Police say Looney was running a record company that was a front for selling drugs. They say he is a ranking member of the notorious prison gang known as the “Black Guerilla Family” founded in1966 at San Quinton."
