North West Evening Mail | News | Laundering gang told to hand over ill-gotten cash: "The biggest sum to be reclaimed – £33,803 – represents the realisable assets of Linshu Che, boss of the Wonder Wok takeaway in Howe Street, Barrow.
Yesterday’s hearing was told she benefited by £427,635 through her criminal activities.
Che, 27, was given three years in prison for her part. The court heard she owned several cars in succession and enjoyed luxury shopping sprees.
Her then-boyfriend, chef Tai Wen, 29, received two-and-a-half years in prison. A confiscation order for £260 was made against him. He was found to have benefited through his activity to the tune of £139,324.
Two other takeaway owners – Zia Guo, 35, of Bridge Street in Heywood, near Manchester, and Ping Lin, 29, owner of the Happy House in Leyland, Lancashire – were each given three-and-a-half year jail terms."
