More than 7% of all cocaine abusers in the world are in Africa. This is according to the International Narcotics Control Board's 2007 annual report, which was released in Pretoria today. The report also reveals that Western African countries are rapidly developing into major drug smuggling routes, especially when it comes to cocaine from the Latin American countries. The report says South Africa is a point for trafficking from both the East and South America.
